This is a basement project we completed in 2010, located in Marietta. We opened up the living room wall, created a bedroom & home office, added 2 built in cabinets, created a tray ceiling in the living room, and added 2 french door sets.
This is a beautiful daylight basement we completed in 2007. Located in the St. Ives County Club in John's Creek, it is the winning project featured on HGTV's BANG FOR YOUR BUCK television show, Season 5. Video link located on the homepage. These are photos of the finished basement and some behind the scenes photos of the film shoot.
This is a basement completed in 2010, near Powder Springs. A nice kitchen was added, along with a full bath, bedroom, large living room, finished storage room, and gym. The brick accent wall and hardwood flooring were nice touches chosen by the owner. We will be posting updated pictures of this project soon.

This is a 1920's home that we gutted and rebuilt in summer 2008. As you can see from these before & after pictures , we essentially transformed this abandoned old structure into a brand new home complete with all the modern conveniences. We left the double-side fireplace intact to add warmth and character to the home. Our re-design added 4 closets, a second bathroom, a second bedroom and a laundry room, all of which the home did not previously have.

These are several before and after pictures of a basement we finished in Cumming in Spring 2011. We added a full kitchen & built in cabinetry in the office and media room. We also added columns & crown molding for a more upscale look, and opened the stairwell to create a more open feel. Recessed lighting throughout.

This is another basement finishing project completed in 2010. The home was originally built in the 70's. We added a new kitchen and full bath, replaced the windows and entry door, and added 3 large bookshelves and one smaller unit. The original ceiling height was 8 feet, and with all the ceiling obstructions, we put in a lot of time & effort to tap the full potential of this space. The homeowners were pleased, and we are proud of the finished product.
This is a small daylight basement we completed in the Suwanee area is 2010. A window was added, along with a new full bathroom. Though we complete custom, high-end basements from time to time, this is a good example of a basic basement finish.

New window was added and hardwood flooring as well.
As you can see, the home was overgrown with vegetation, and had been vacant for a while. Finally, we installed Hardi Plank concrete fiber siding which resists termites, rot, and wind damage. Modern colors chosen for an updated look. This porch was orginally enclosed, but had been modified at some point in the past and was in a deteriorated state as illustrated by the sagging roof.In this completed photo, this area is once again enclosed. The additional space allowed for a walk in closet, a laundry room, and additional space for the second bedroom. After demo, this room and the home in general was gutted and rebuilt. The master bedroom was made larger, a walk in closet was added, and a private bathroom was added as well. After demo, this area was basically opened up. Later, the ceiling joists were cut out to allow for the ceiling to be vaulted. In this competed photo, you can see that hardwoods were added, and the ceiling height was doubled which allowed for the entire chimney to be seen. This was the kitchen area after final demo. We had to replace the floor joists due to the damaged condition of the original flooring.Yes, this is the same space. A completely new kitchen was added, including appliances, cabinetry, hardwoods and recessed lighting.Small back room before demo.Room is gutted and expanded for future use as a bedroom. Now finished, room size has been doubled, and a second window & closet have been added.A panoramic photo of the master bedroom.A panoramic photo of the living room.

Included are views of stained concrete (very cool), custom cabinets, a fireplace, columns and trimwork, tiled showers, and even a sauna. The "before" pictures will be posted soon, and will show the dramatic changes from start to finish.
We added this natural gas, vent free fireplace. We then built in the cabinetry, complete with accent lighting and glass shelves. This bar was added to service both the living room and the pool table room. We also used different styles of tray ceilngs. This is an infrared sauna the homeowner asked us to incorporate into the design. It worked out well. This is a very nice tiled shower, complete with a bench seat. A beautiful coffered ceilng, and yes, this is really a basement.Stained concrete in another classy, low maintenance way to finish off a concrete floor. The columns and handrails help to tie into the upstairs finish. A "galley"style kitchen made from all wood, custom cabinets. Tiled backsplash was not yet installed. This is another view of the kitchen and the stairwell. We installed this natural travertine tiled shower, recessed niche and glass accent band. This is a large, custom entertainment center which was built and we pre-wired with cable, ethernet, HDMI, and speaker1 for both home theater and music in multiple rooms. Wire mesh was added for style, ventilation and remote control access.
